All set for ANUPA 4-day workshop training for Senior University Professional Administrators

All is set for the 2024 training workshop organised by the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) for Senior University Professional Administrators.

The 4 days training will hold from Wednesday, May 22 to Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Idris Abdulkadir Auditorium, 26, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, FCT, Abuja.

Under the theme “Sustaining a Culture of Excellence in University Administration,” professional university administrators will be trained, retrained and equipped on essential needs to get better in their respective fields towards achieving organisational and ensure global best practices.

Arrangements and plans have been made to ensure participants have the best impactful training sessions and maximal acquisition of necessary skills to boost their administrative capacities for improved performances in their respective varsities.

The Registrar of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Abakaliki, Barrister Titus Ifeanyi Igwe will speak on “The Role of Professional University Administrator in Synergisation of E-Administration and Student Support System”. Former Registrar of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, Katsina, Mr Nasir Bello, will speak on “Strategies for Effective Interviewing: A Practical Guide to Securing Appointments in the University System”.

Also, Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellor’s Office, National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja, Mr. Oyedipe Oladimeji Adefemi, will speak on “Embracing Diversity: The Importance of Blending, Equity and Inclusion in University Administration.” Former National President of ANUPA, Mr. Sam C. Mwansat, will speak on “Expectatant Collaboration, Synergy and Adaptability Roles of the Professional Administrators in Identifying and Deploying the Right Strategies in University Administration in the Face of Global Competitiveness”.
