The Senior Programmes and Project Officer, African Academy of Languages, African Union (AU) and the founder of His Majesty Global Schools, Dr Babajide Johnson, has called on Nigerian youths to be more focused and entrepreneurial. He gave this charge while speaking with CEOAFRICA in an exclusive interview on “Meet your African CEO".

As an established business owner, Dr Johnson spoke extensively about his achievements as a youth and how he received a commission from God to start up an establishment that will be of impact to the younger generation, hence, his establishment of His Majesty Global Schools.

Dr Johnson explained that borne out of the need to replicate in Nigeria, the high learning standard he has experienced overseas, as well as his passion for excellent education, he decided to establish a global educational institution where the students will be able to interact on the same intellectual level with students in other countries. He noted that establishing the school is a way for him to give back to the society and fulfil the mandate of God.

Giving instances of the challenges he faced while establishing his institution, the diplomat and entrepreneur encouraged youths to persevere when faced with challenges during the course of running their businesses. He noted that great industries and conglomerates that are celebrated today were once struggling but their owners did not relent on their efforts in the face of those challenges. He said “Nigerian youths should be encouraged to come up and make their impact in Africa, because they are talented.”

Dr Johnson advised the younger generation to be focused and redefine themselves as they are the future leaders. He also encouraged them not to compromise on their dreams and not to be used as tools of destruction in the hands of politicians.

He concluded by saying  “Be focused and be the best in what you do!”
