Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has been nominated for a Grammy award for his contribution to Drake`s 2016 ‘View’ and lead single ‘One dance’.

According to ceoafrica, the young superstar will be going home with two awards for production and guest feature on the album, if the award is won by American Pop star, Drake.

The award which was originally presented to the artist alone is now presented to the main artist, the featured artist(s), the producer, the mixer and the mastering engineer.

This will stamp a landmark of awards for the young star that is having a successful year.

Recalled that he was awarded with the Best African Act at the 2016 Music of Black Origin, gold trophy for Worldwide Act at this year’s MTV and EMAs

Also, the singer was honoured as the Best Artiste on the continent at the 2016 AFRIMA awards.
