Report just reaching Ceoafrica reveals that the Gambia's embassy in Senegal has been shut without guards or staff.

The embassy is due to host the controversial inauguration of property developer Adama Barrow as the third president of The Gambia later today.

Adama Barrow won the country’s December 1 elections by defeating President Yahya Jammeh, who has vowed not to hand over power.

The Gambia's embassy is one of 100 foreign representations in Senegal, and one of 90 foreign representations in Dakar.
