Meanwhile, state Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela has said that the state had received another batch of funds from the federal government for the continuation of the home-grown school feeding programme.
He consequently said that the feeding of pupils in primary 1-3 in public schools, which was suspended for a week due to lack of funds, had resumed.
The state Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which supervises the programme in the state, had attributed the hiccups experienced to the fact that the federal government was yet to lodge another N72 million for another two weeks starting February 13, 2017.
