A fire incident occurred in Somalia’s largest market, Bakaara Market, in Mogadishu, the nation’s capital and affected three sections, in the morning.

According to Ceoafrica, fire-fighters have managed to extinguish the fire, which killed three people, razed shops, stores and others.

It was learnt that Bakara market is a vast commercial district, covering a large area and comprising many streets, alleys, open areas and buildings.

It is informally divided up into areas, like Suitcase Street or Pharmacy Street, where the whole area is dedicated to that specialism.
