The Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagosbecame like a Mecca for Lagosians, tourists and other fun seekers who came, mind to enjoy the popular Eyo Festival despite the heavy rainfalls.

The white-clad Eyo masquerades represent the spirits of the dead and are referred to in Yoruba as “agogoro Eyo”.
