The implementation of this agenda came into effect on January 1, 2016 and rests on the five Pillars which are:  People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace.  Since 2016, the Annual Ibadan Sustainable Development Summit (ISDS) had focused on these Pillars, one after the other: 'People' in 2016, 'Planet' in 2017, 'Prosperity' in 2018 while justice will be done to 'Partnership' in the ISDN 2019 conference.
