Nigerians Photos of lions at zoos in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and Univeristy of Ibadan (UI) has sparked a discussion.

In photos shared to Instagram, the lions look malnourished.

The photos are recent ones and show the skinny lions with their bones visible.

One lion has lost its tail in addition to looking malnourished.
