Reputable for her high standard and quality of education and academic research, the prestigious Chrisland University continues to shine, as two of her lecturers recently received cash prizes for their excellence in academic research.

As part of the fulfillment of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to Chrisland University, being a partner in providing computer-based training for her students over the years, the New Horizon System Solutions Limited, presented the award of excellence to two best Published lecturers in Academic research in the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola who presented the cash award of 150,000 each on behalf of New Horizon Ltd, commended the lecturers and charged them to continue to give their best to research and Academic excellence.

She also encouraged all academic staff to pursue excellence and strive for improvements in their chosen areas of expertise.

The awarded lecturers, Dr. Solomon Okunade of the Department of Economics, College of Arts, Management and Social Sciences (CAMAS), and Mr. Daniel Wisdom of the Department of Computer Science, College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CONAS) expressed their appreciation for the honour of the award.

The award, which is a token of appreciation to the qualified lecturers, will encourage aspiring and existing researchers within and outside the institution.
