Land Use Change and the Resilience of Farming Systems in Southwest Nigeria (LucFReS) is set to hold a Stakeholders Knowledge Exchange Workshop II.

The workshop will hold on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, by 10am.

Venue is Chiemella Ikonne Lecture (CLT) Theatre, Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.

CEOAFRICA gathers that land use constrains the future of food production in the face of climate change. It is a major driver of processes degrading both land and marine-based natural resources. The production of food is affected as agroecosystem functions and services diminish when agricultural lands degrade. Hence, threatening the resilience of Farming Systems used in producing food.

In the light of that, the aim of the workshop is to initiate a process of progressive dialogue with stakeholders for co-designing resilient farming systems in Southwest Nigeria.
