All is set for Chrisland University's 2nd inaugural lecture

All preparation has been put in place as Chrisland University, Owode, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria holds her 2nd Inaugural Lecture on Thursday 18th July, 2024 at the school auditorium by 11am.

This was made known by the Vice Chancellor of the University and the host of the Inaugural Lecture, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola.

The Inaugural Lecture will be delivered by Prof. Isaac Ayodeji Odun-Ayo with the title, "Who are these that fly as clouds...?" Scaling Computing Metaphor.

As earlier reported by CEOAFRICA, Prof. Odun-Ayo is presently a Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Sciences, Chrisland University, Abeokuta since June 2022.

His well-rounded experience culminated in his current role as Head of the Department of Computer Sciences, Chrisland University, overseeing computer science, software engineering, and cybersecurity programmes.

He is also a Member of Screening Panel and Support Teams; as well as Member of Ceremonies and Honours Committee at Chrisland University. Within 6 months of his arrival at Chrisland University, he organized a grant seminar and led the Department of Computer Sciences to a successful accreditation of the software engineering, and cybersecurity programmes.

Chrisland University has held its maiden Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, 5th July, 2023 at the University Auditorium. The Inaugural Lecture was delivered by Professor Babafemi Adesina Badejo, a Professor of Political Science and International Relations titled “Interests”.
