Rwanda head coach, Torsten Frânk Spittler, is talking tough ahead of his team's match against the star-studded Super Eagles in Tuesday’s AFCON 2025 qualifier.
Rwanda will host the Eagles inside the Amahoro stadium, on matchday 2 of the AFCON qualifiers.
The match comes after the Super Eagles opened their campaign with a 3-0 win against Benin Republic, while Rwanda forced Libya to a 1-1 draw away.
Both teams are also in the same group in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and will meet on matchday 5 in March 2025.
“We are in a good process and what we have done so far is promising,” Spittler said in his press conference.
“We know Nigeria is a big team with big names but I want to assure you that we are prepared and we are ready to show good football tomorrow.”
