Olusegun Obasanjo, a former President of Nigeria, has said he would be alive in 20 years time to attend the 90th birthday celebration of Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, who just turned 70.
When Bishop Oyedepo would be 90 years old, Obasanjo would clock 107 years.
Obasanjo spoke during the 70th birthday celebration of Oyedepo at the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, on Friday.
Addressing Living Faith members, Obasanjo said: “Today you are joining the club of Septuagenarians; from Septuagenarian, you will become Octogenarian, and I will be here. From Octogenarian, you will become Nonagenarian, and I will be here.
“After that, I will leave you alone, and God will be with you.”
Reflecting on his own connection to Ota and Oyedepo’s contribution to the area, Obasanjo recounted his experience with farming in Ota, which began in 1979.
