Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Oyo State Chapter, Commiserates with Gov Makinde over brother's death

In a heartfelt gesture of sympathy, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Oyo State Chapter, has extended its deepest condolences to Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, following the recent passing of his brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.

In a statement personally signed by the Oyo State President Elect of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Hon. Umeh Okechukwu, he emphasized the impact that Engr. Sunday Makinde had on the community. "The news of his passing has left us profoundly saddened," Hon. Okechukwu said. He highlighted Engr. Makinde’s commitment to service and leadership, acknowledging the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

The statement conveyed the chapter's solidarity with the governor during this difficult time, expressing that the loss of a brother is indeed a heavy burden to bear. “Our hearts go out to you and your family as you grapple with this profound grief,” he added.

Hon. Okechukwu assured the governor that the entire Ohanaeze Ndigbo community are standing with him in mourning this irreplaceable loss and are ready to provide support in any way possible. The heartfelt message aimed to bring solace in a time of sorrow, encouraging the governor to find comfort in the love and support of friends, family, and the community.
