The Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) invites all stakeholders to its 2025 Farmers' Field Day, scheduled for Thursday, 27th February 2025 at the CRIN Exhibition Ground, around the Admin Block, Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN), Ibadan, at 10am. This event is designed to showcase groundbreaking research in Cocoa, Cashew, Coffee, Kola, and Tea commodity crops.

Over the years, the Institute has been able to develop technologies with great potential to empower producers. The essence of this event is to create awareness, promote adoption, increase value addition and consumption, and attract investors to commercialize CRIN products in Nigeria. These technologies have been identified to create job opportunities, generate income, improve livelihoods, and solve some health challenges. CRIN research technologies will be exhibited during the event, including CRIN TC1-8 cocoa hybrid, cocoa powder, cocoa bread, chocolate, cocoa wine, cashew wine, kola wine, coffee wine, choco gari, black soap, and cocoa butter cream.

The theme for this year's event is "CRIN Developed Technologies for Improved Food Security and Economic Growth," reflecting CRIN's commitment to enhancing agricultural practices and promoting sustainable farming to ensure food security in Nigeria. As Dr. Patrick Olusanmi Adebola, the CEO/Executive Director of CRIN, emphasizes, “Our goal is to equip farmers with innovative technologies that not only enhance their productivity but also improve their livelihoods.”

Organizations interested in exhibiting their products can participate for an exhibition fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000) per stand.
