Today marks 80 days to "IFEADIGO 2025," and we celebrate the achievements of Alexander Chuka Iwobi. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Chuba Iwobi on May 3, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, Iwobi hails from Onitsha in Anambra State. Nicknamed "Big 17," he is a professional footballer known for his dynamic playing style as a forward for Arsenal FC in the English Premier League and the Nigerian national team.

Iwobi’s football journey began at a young age, showcasing exceptional talent that soon caught the attention of scouts. He joined Arsenal’s youth academy and made his first-team debut in 2015. Since then, he has made significant contributions to the team with his skillful play and tactical versatility, becoming a fan favorite. In 2016, Iwobi was recognized for his outstanding performance by winning the CAF Young Player of the Year award and earning a spot in the 2016 CAF Team of the Year.

His contributions to the Nigerian national team have also been noteworthy; Iwobi played a crucial role in the Super Eagles' campaigns, including helping the team qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. His ability to perform on both domestic and international stages highlights his growth as a prominent figure in Nigerian football.

Anambra State, the hometown of many celebrated individuals, is often referred to as the "Light of the Nation." This moniker underscores the state’s rich cultural heritage, educational achievements, and its pivotal role in advancing Nigeria’s development.

As we look forward to "IFEADIGO 2025," scheduled for July 22 to 27, 2025, at the International Conference Center in Awka, it is essential to embrace the meaning behind IFEADIGO, which translates to "light has come." This signifies the theme of enlightenment and innovation that the conference embodies, particularly in the context of community pharmacy practice. The theme for this year’s conference, "Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacy Practice," emphasizes how technological advancements can enhance healthcare delivery and patient care.

As we honor the legacy of athletes like Alexander Iwobi, let us be inspired to foster progress and collaboration in our respective fields at "IFEADIGO 2025."
