Today marks 78 days down to "IFEADIGO 2025", and as the anticipation for this monumental event draws nearer, we take a moment to recognize the achievements of Prince Arthur Eze. Born on November 27th, 1948, in Ukpo village, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria, Eze has made a significant mark in the business world as a prominent tycoon.

He is the founder and chairman of Atlas Petroleum International Ltd. and is regarded as the eighth richest person in Africa, with an impressive net worth exceeding $5.8 billion. In 1991, Eze founded Atlas Oranto Petroleum, focusing on oil exploration activities across West Africa. Just two years later, he successfully incorporated the business, which has grown to become the largest holder of oil exploration blocks on the continent. The company’s acreage continues to expand, with two of its oil blocks capable of producing over 100,000 barrels of crude oil daily.

Beyond his business acumen, Eze is known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly his significant donations to the People’s Democratic Party. His active role in fundraising for candidates has seen him contribute nearly $100 million of his own wealth during recent election cycles. Eze's flamboyant lifestyle complements his success; he is rumored to own five different models of Rolls Royce and a Bombardier private jet worth over $25 million, believed to be one of the old Presidential Air Fleet models he acquired at auction in 2011.

As we approach the 44th Annual International Scientific Conference of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) tagged "IFEADIGO 2025," taking place from July 22 to 27, 2025, at the International Conference Center in Awka, we are reminded of the essence of this gathering. IFEADIGO, which translates to "light has come," embodies our commitment to fostering enlightenment and progress within the community pharmacy sector.

The theme for this year, "Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacy Practice," highlights the growing importance of employing innovative solutions to improve healthcare delivery, ensuring pharmacists can meet the evolving needs of patients effectively.

Anambra State, often referred to as the "Light of the Nation," signifies the region's rich heritage, achievements in various fields, and its pivotal role in Nigeria’s development. As we honor influential figures like Prince Arthur Eze, we are inspired to propel the narrative of progress and collaboration at "IFEADIGO 2025.
