
The Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHAPN) is set to host its 26th Annual National Scientific Conference, titled "EDO 2025," from August 4th to 9th, 2025. The event, themed "Innovations in Pharmaceutical Care Delivery for Equitable Patients' Healthcare," will take place at the SIO Event Centre, located at 8 RedCross Crescent off Ikpokpan Road, Sapele Road, in Benin City, Edo State.
The conference promises to gather esteemed professionals in the pharmaceutical field, aiming to foster discussions on advancements in pharmaceutical care that ensure equitable access to healthcare for patients. The event will feature a lineup of distinguished guests and speakers, signaling its significance within the healthcare community.
Special guests include His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, who will grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honor. The opening ceremony will be chaired by Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe, Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Edo State.
Pharm. Tanko Ibrahim, President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), will serve as the Grand Host, joined by Chief Host Pharm. Elechi Oyim, the National Chairman of AHAPN. The Royal Father of the Day will be His Royal Majesty, Omo n'Oba n'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, highlighting the traditional significance of the gathering.
The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Azuka Okpara, Former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Benin, setting the tone for insightful discussions throughout the conference. In addition, the CPC Chairman, Pharm. (Dr.) Oladele Ibikoya, will contribute to the proceedings, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of the theme.
