CRIN Set to Host In-House Research Review Focusing on Sustainable Agricultural Innovations

The Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) is gearing up to host its much-anticipated In-House Research Review from June 17 to 19, 2025. Themed "Advances in Varietal Development of Cocoa, Cashew, Coffee, Kola, and Tea for Sustainable Economic Growth," the event aims to showcase groundbreaking research advancements in these vital agricultural sectors.

CRIN, established to enhance agricultural productivity in Nigeria, focuses on improving crop varieties, pest and disease management, and sustainable agricultural practices. The institute plays a crucial role in promoting innovations that not only increase crop yields but also support food security and economic growth.

The review will kick off at CRIN's Ibadan headquarters at 10:00am daily, gathering esteemed researchers, industry stakeholders, and agricultural enthusiasts. Dr. Patrick Adebola, Executive Director and CEO of CRIN, will host the event and highlighted the significance of such research. “This review provides an invaluable opportunity for researchers to share findings that can drive economic growth and improve livelihoods in Nigeria and beyond,” Adebola remarked.
