The Ohanaze Ndigbo Worldwide, Oyo State Chapter, led by President Hon. Okechukwu Nwabunike Umeh, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Cooperative College in Eleyele, Ibadan. The visit aimed to establish a cooperative society for members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

During the meeting, which included key officials like Provost Dr. Ibrahim Abdulganiyu and Registrar Dr. (Mrs) Ademilua, President Umeh emphasized the desire to collaborate with the college's expertise in cooperative management. Provost Abdulganiyu welcomed the initiative, noting its alignment with President Ahmed Tinubu's efforts to reform and enhance cooperative societies in Nigeria. He assured support for capacity building to ensure the success of the proposed cooperative society.

This partnership marks a significant step towards fostering economic development within the Ohanaeze Ndigbo community in Oyo State.
