ACPN National Chairman, Pharm Ezeh visits Anambra State House of Assembly Speaker Ahead of "IFEADIGO 2025"

As part of the effort towards organizing an unprecedented 44th Annual International Scientific Conference, Pharm. Ezeh Ambrose Igwekamma, the National Chairman of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), led his team to another successful courtesy visit on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 to the office of Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze, the Honourable Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly. This visit was aimed at gathering support from policymakers and key stakeholders, showcasing the competence and determination of the ACPN to host a remarkable conference.

This visit follows a recent engagement with His Excellency Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, who expressed his commitment to support and host the forthcoming conference. The interactions between the ACPN and these influential leaders further attest to the readiness and determination of community pharmacists to achieve a successful and impactful conference for all participants.

During the discussions, Pharm. Ezeh emphasized the significance of the IFEADIGO conference, stating, “This conference is not just another gathering; it represents a pivotal moment for community pharmacists in Nigeria. With the theme, ‘Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacists’ Practice in Nigeria,’ we aim to embrace modernization while enhancing patient-centered care.” He explained that the conference will serve as a vital platform for knowledge exchange and networking among healthcare professionals, promoting collaborative efforts to improve health outcomes across the region.

In response, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze expressed his enthusiastic support for the ACPN’s initiatives, acknowledging the essential role that community pharmacists play within the healthcare system. “I am delighted to welcome the upcoming "IFEADIGO 2025" conference to Anambra. It is critical that our pharmacists stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements, particularly in integrating technology into their practices. This conference will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing evolution of pharmacy in Nigeria,” he remarked.
