The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has suspended two of its personnel over attempts to procure an international passport for an inmate.

In a statement, Umar Abubakar, NCoS public relations officer, said the misconduct was detected through the automated passport application and other holistic reforms within the Nigeria Immigration Service a fortnight ago.
