With only 19 days remaining until the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria National Conference tagged "IFEADIGO 2025," it is our pleasure to spotlight our esteemed Chief Host for the conference, Pharm. Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, FPSN.

Pharm. Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the pharmacy profession. He previously served as the First Deputy National President and NEC Ex-Officio Member in 2012, reflecting his long-standing commitment to advancing the pharmaceutical sector in Nigeria. His leadership capabilities were further recognized when he was conferred with the PSN Fellowship in November 2012, a testament to his contributions to the field.

His instrumental role in securing a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation grant from 2014 to 2017 aimed at tackling childhood diseases highlights his proactive approach to public health challenges. As the Program Director of Operations for the Pharmacy Society of Nigeria (PSN), he has continued to champion initiatives that improve healthcare delivery and enhance community well-being.

Currently, Pharm. Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim holds the prestigious position of the 24th President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He was inaugurated on February 28, 2025, and is poised to lead the society into a new era of innovation and collaboration. He was elected at the 97th Annual PSN Conference in Uyo, in November 2024.

As we gather at "IFEADIGO 2025," from July 22 to 27, 2025, at the International Conference Center in Awka, Pharm. Ibrahim's insights will be invaluable—particularly in discussions centered around this year's theme: “Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacists’ Practice in Nigeria.” His extensive experience in both local and international frameworks will enrich dialogues on how technology can enhance personalized care, improving health outcomes throughout Nigeria.
