More than 130 vehicles were involved in series of crashes that recently occurred on the A249 Bridge Sheppey crossing in Kent, UK.

According to the report by BBC, 8 out of the hundreds of casualties sustained serious injuries in the collisions while ambulance crew disclosed 35 casualties needed critical medical treatment.

Some witnesses at the scene gave that the scene was better described as a mass of tangled cars, lorries, and a car transporter involved in the horror which went on for over 10 minutes as cars continuously collided with each other.

However, the injured people were taken to six different hospitals in Medway, Ashford, Margate, Maidstone, Canterbury and London, constituting a major incident which reputable hospitals had to cancel all its routine planned surgery, to help deal with.
