Nigerian Delegation Led by PSN President Attends NAPPSA's 19th Annual Conference

A prominent delegation from Nigeria, led by the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Pharm. Tanko Ibrahim Ayuba, attended the Nigerian Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas Inc. (NAPPSA) 19th Annual Conference & Exposition.

The event, held on September 26, 2025 at Sheraton Suites Chicago O'Hare, located at 6501 N. Mannheim Road, Rosemont, IL 60018, centered around the theme "Harnessing Artificial Intelligence in Pharmaceutical Development and Healthcare Delivery."

The esteemed delegation included notable figures such as Pharm. Olumide Akintayo, a past president of PSN and Prof. Cyril Usifoh, the immediate past president of PSN. Their participation underscores the important synergy between NAPPSA and PSN, highlighting their shared commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession and healthcare delivery.

In his remarks during the conference, Pharm. Tanko Ayuba emphasized the significance of collaboration between professional bodies. "It is essential that we come together to share knowledge and insights in order to move our profession forward.

The integration of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical development is a crucial step in improving healthcare delivery for our communities both in Nigeria and the Americas," he stated. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with international colleagues and explore innovative practices that can be adopted in Nigeria.

Pharm. Emmanuel C. Ezirim, President of NAPPSA, welcomed the Nigerian delegation with open arms, appreciating their commitment to the conference.
