Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru, sister Cynthia Nwifuru has married her longtime partner, Engr. Silas Umahi, who is the brother of Nigeria’s Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi.

The traditional wedding ceremony was held at the palace of His Royal Highness Ezekiel Nwifuru Nwakpu in Oferekpe Agbaja, Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Minister Umahi announced the union in a Facebook post on Saturday, October 18, sharing photos of himself with Governor Nwifuru and other family members.

He disclosed that, the couple’s relationship began quietly in 2020, saying, “The relationship between the new couple started in 2020 when no one knew about it.”
