No fewer than 34 nations have officially secured their spots in the 2026 World Cup.
On Monday night, Germany and the Netherlands became the latest teams to qualify for next year’s tournament.
The Germans booked their spot with a comprehensive 6-0 demolition of Slovakia at the Red Bull Arena.
The Netherlands also thrashed Lithuania 4-0 to ensure they would participate at the World Cup.There will be 48 nations at the 2026 World Cup, an increase from the 32 that played at the last edition in Qatar.
