The Nigerian Association of Industrial Pharmacists (NAIP), under the leadership of Pharm. (Sir) Bankole Aminu Ezebuilo, has clinched the prestigious ‘Group Dynamic Award’ in recognition of the association’s unwavering dedication, innovation, and outstanding contributions to the pharmaceutical industry.

The award was presented on November 7, 2025, during the closing banquet and dinner of the 98th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), tagged DABO 2025, held in Kano.

According to the award citation, NAIP was chosen for its symbol of commitment and service, as well as excellent innovation, digital advancements, and impactful ideas consistently championed by its technical group.

NAIP, being one of the technical arms of the PSN, has continued to play a critical role in advancing industrial pharmacy and strengthening pharmaceutical manufacturing in Nigeria.

In his acceptance speech, the National Chairman, Sir. Bankole Ezebuilo, expressed deep appreciation to members of the association and the wider pharmacy community.

“I want to thank all pharmacists, all NAIPians and everyone who believes in what we do. As much as we were confident that we were going to win, we are still very grateful,” he said.

He added that the award reinforces the association’s mandate to transform the profession: “Now, we are moving with a mandate to move pharmacy forward through a future-ready workforce for performance, collaboration and health transformation.”

Ezebuilo also extended appreciation to other competing technical groups within PSN, acknowledging their impact on the profession.

"To our fellow contestants – NAPA, ALPs, AHAPN, ACPN – we see you, we celebrate you and appreciate all your efforts to keep pharmacy at the very hallmark of excellence. This isn’t just our win; it is for all of us, a victory for the entire pharmacy community,” he added.

Also speaking, the President of PSN, Pharm. Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, congratulated NAIP for the achievement, describing the win as well deserved.

"I am proud of NAIP for this win. I want to congratulate you for this achievement. I hope you try and win it again next year,” he stated.

This recognition further highlights NAIP’s leading role in driving industry-focused policy discussions, fostering innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and strengthening professional collaboration across the sector.

With this achievement, stakeholders say NAIP has once again demonstrated its relevance as a key pillar in Nigeria’s pharmaceutical ecosystem, while inspiring other technical arms to advance excellence within the profession.
