There was a makeshift bomb explosion at the entrance of a hotel in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, although no casualty was recorded.
CEOAFRICA.com gathered that a previously unknown group claimed responsibility for the blast, telling foreigners to keep out of the nation's elections scheduled for October 25.
Sources disclosed that the country has been experiencing one form of upheaval or another since 2009 when President Andry Pajoelina uses military supports to seize power from theĀ then president, Marc Ravalomanana.
Meanwhile, the next election is expected to usher in a new administration as Rajoelina had earlier been disqualified from participating in the election by the electoral court in the country along with two other prominent candidates.
