BOF-PSN Chair, Pharm. Apakama Calls for Growth, Collaboration, and Impact in Pharmacy

Pharm. Uchenna Uzoma Apakama, National Chairman of the Board of Fellows, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (BOF-PSN), has extended heartfelt New Year 2026 greetings to members of the fellowship, pharmacists across Nigeria, and the broader healthcare community.

In his message, Apakama said, “As we welcome 2026, I wish all my colleagues and fellow healthcare professionals a year filled with health, progress, and meaningful accomplishments. The New Year is a time to reflect on past achievements, set new goals, and deepen our commitment to advancing pharmacy and healthcare delivery in Nigeria.”

He further highlighted the role of pharmacists in improving public health. “As custodians of medicines and healthcare knowledge, let us continue to provide safe, ethical, and impactful services. May we remain proactive in health promotion, patient education, and community engagement throughout the year.”

Apakama also called for mentorship and knowledge sharing within the profession. “Let 2026 be a year of collaboration, guidance, and support for the next generation of pharmacists. By nurturing talent, sharing expertise, and strengthening our networks, we can enhance the profession’s relevance and impact.”

He wrapped up with a note of optimism and encouragement: “On behalf of BOF-PSN, I extend best wishes to all pharmacists, fellows, and healthcare stakeholders, may 2026 bring renewed opportunities, professional fulfillment, and continued contributions to the health and well-being of our communities.”
