President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a statement issued on Friday, the President praised Idris for his dedication and effectiveness in communicating the policies and achievements of the current administration.
Tinubu described the minister as an accomplished communicator and media professional who has brought credibility and professionalism to government messaging.
“Mohammed is an excellent communicator, public relations executive, and media leader who has brought finesse, credibility, and gravitas to public communication in our administration,” the President said.
He noted that Idris has built a strong reputation in the media and public relations sector, highlighting his role as founder and publisher of Blueprint Newspapers, as well as his leadership in the communications industry.
The President also recalled Idris’ service as General Secretary of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria, describing it as a mark of his commitment to national development.
Commending his performance in office, Tinubu said the minister has shown diligence and resilience in promoting the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda across the country.
“As Mohammed celebrates this milestone, I join his family and friends in wishing him continued good health and strength in service to the nation,” the statement added.
