I wanted to be a Catholic Priest as a child — Cubana Chief Priest

Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has opened up about his childhood ambition of becoming a Catholic priest.

The nightlife entrepreneur made the revelation while sharing a throwback photograph from his days as a junior seminarian on Instagram.

Accompanying the photo with a reflective caption, Cubana Chief Priest recalled his mother's wish for him to embrace the priesthood and reflected on the faith that shaped his early years.

According to him, although he had a strong desire to become a Catholic priest, life eventually took a different path.

“I really wanted to become a Catholic priest but many are called, few are chosen,” he wrote.

The businessman also used the opportunity to honour his mother's influence on his life and acknowledge the spiritual foundation laid during his upbringing.

The post has since attracted reactions from fans and followers, many of whom expressed surprise at his seminary background while commending his candour about his personal journey and religious roots.
