The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has published the names of 10 Nigerian nationals facing deportation after being arrested over various criminal offences.

The individuals were listed on the United States Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) “Worst of the Worst” register, which features non-citizens arrested by ICE over alleged criminal activities.

According to the list published on the official DHS website, the offences linked to the Nigerians range from wire fraud and identity theft to child-related offences, drug offences, weapons possession and conspiracy.

The Nigerians listed by the US authorities are:

Temitope Bashua — Wire fraud, identity theft and fraud — Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

Ojehoro Lewis — Cruelty toward a child — Conroe, Texas.

Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe — Wire fraud — Louisville, Kentucky.

Daniel Owore — Dangerous drugs — Conroe, Texas.

Raymond H. Ekevwo — Wire fraud — Oxford, Wisconsin.

Franklin Dikeocha— Sex offence against a child, including fondling — Dallas, Texas.

Johnson Ogunlana — Fraud and identity theft — White Deer, Pennsylvania.

Chukwuemeka Okorocha — Wire fraud, dangerous drugs, possession of a weapon and aggravated assault involving a non-family gun — Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

Tunde Korede — Conspiracy — Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

Chukwuemeka Chinye — Larceny from a banking-type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy — Pollock, Louisiana.

DHS said the register was established to highlight individuals it described as the “worst of the worst criminal aliens” arrested by ICE.

The department said the arrests form part of the Trump administration’s broader immigration enforcement drive, which prioritises the removal of non-citizens considered to pose a criminal threat.

“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here,” the department said.
