The African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, has blamed the Tinubu administration's economic policies for the death of his mum.

Recall that Amaechi's mother, Madam Mary Amaechi, passed away in July at the age of 89.

In a chat with Channels Television on Friday night, October 2, Amaechi said the removal of subsidy amongst the policies have brought untold hardship on Nigerians, including him.

According to him, many people, including his mum, have passed on.

‘’Where are the funds that supposed to be from the outcome of the fuel subsidy removal? Where are they? The essence of removing the subsidy according to the president is to better the lives of Nigerians. I want to feel it. Everybody wants to feel it. Nobody hates Tinubu. I love Tinubu., He knows but I disagree with him because his policies are killing people. I lost my mother

Many people have lost their persons.''

When asked if he was assertively saying that Tinubu's policies killed his mum, he said

‘’Of course! Before Tinubu, my mother was healthy. When Tinubu came, it was difficult to buy drugs for my mother.''
