President Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence in his re-election bid ahead of the 2027 presidential election, declaring that nothing can derail his political ambition.

Tinubu made the statement during a meeting with members of the City Boys Movement in Abuja, where he urged supporters to remain committed to his Renewed Hope agenda.

The President maintained that Nigeria was on the right economic path, citing China’s reported economic growth of 4.6 per cent as he expressed optimism about the country’s future.

“We are on the right path, we are with good people, the economy is growing steadily, and you have a future to believe in,” he said.

Tinubu urged members of the movement to see the 2027 election as a contest that would determine their own future, rather than simply a campaign to return him to office.

“Nigeria must win this election before any candidate does. You are not campaigning for me, you are campaigning for your own future, and that future is Renewed Hope,” he stated.

Reaffirming his confidence in the movement, the President said the commitment and patience of his supporters had strengthened his resolve ahead of the election.

“There is nothing that will push us back. If you have been patient, knowledgeable, and committed, and what I have seen tonight is that your hope and my hope have been renewed,” Tinubu added.
