The mother of the three Mailoni brothers that were gunned down by security agents in Zambia has expressed satisfaction with the incident, CEOAFRICA confirms.
Janet said she cannot mourn the death of her three children because they were threats to the community where they lived. She described their death as that which calls for celebration because they’ve caused the entire community a lot of damage.
According to Janet, her children troubled the surrounding villages and the armed police officers were always on her family and neighbours to disclose where the three boys were hiding. “My sons were already lost, and their death cannot live any vacuum,” she said.
Hearing the news of the death of these three brothers, the village where they lived rejoiced and expressed hope that peace would return to their territory.
However, the Human Right Commission (HRC) has expressed displeasure over the execution of the three Mailoni brothers. The director of the group, Florence Chibwesha said that the right to life of the brothers has been infringed upon, since they could have been captured and then be subjected to the law. She said the commission is currently studying the circumstances under which the brothers were killed before making taken official position.
The notorious Mailoni brothers were recently gunned down in the Luano Valley of Central Province by a combined team of defence security forces after a tip off from one of the members of the public. They are; Mika 35, Steven 31, and Fabian 27.
The trio was trapped between chief Chembe and Chinika area, as they were identified by the village headman Ngosa Chibale who was once attacked by the deceased.
The Mailoni brothers have been terrorizing the people of Central Province and engaged in a murderous campaign that also claimed the life of many people including a medical doctor from the Flying Doctor Service.
