Nelson Mandela on Life Support Machine, as President Zuma cancel trip

Report from South Africa has confirmed that Nelson Mandela, the first black President South Africa, is presently using life support machine to breathe, CEOAFRICA gathered.

South African President, Jacob Zuma paid a late night visit to the hospital where Madiba is currently undergoing treatment for lung problem.

However, Mandela’s family confirmed that he is currently breathing through ventilator. Nipilisi Mandela, a family member said,”Yes, he is using machines to breathe…It is bad, but what can we do.”

The South African Press Association said President Zuma, immediately he was leaving the Pretoria Hospital, announced that he had cancelled a proposed trip to Maputo for Southern African Development Community infrastructure investment summit.

The statement said,” President Zuma visited former President Nelson Mandela in hospital this evening…and found him in a critical condition. President Zuma was briefed by the doctors who are still doing everything they can to ensure Mandela’s well-being. The President had decided to cancel his visit to Maputo.”
