Ahead of its second game against Korea DPR tomorrow in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been advised to forget the 2-4 defeat they suffered in the hands of Brazil on Monday and focus on picking the three points at stake when they face the Koreans, as they need to win their remaining two group games to qualify for the next round of the competition.

“The Flying Eagles should be consoled by the fact that there is still hope and [that] they can redeem themselves by going for victory when they face North Korea on Thursday.

“We are aware of the threat posed by the North Koreans, but we equally have strong faith in you to pick the three points at stake.

“This is the best opportunity for the Flying Eagles to return to reckoning in Group E and we encourage the team to work hard and secure victory against North Korea,” a statement released by the firm said in part.

Hungary and Brazil jointly lead Group E, while Nigeria and Korea occupy the bottom position without any point so far. Nigeria will face North Korea while Brazil will lock horns with Hungary in the second Group E matches tomorrow.
