It was gathered by CEOAFRICA.com that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has relieved Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Mrs Joy Emordi, of her appointment with immediate effect.

The announcement of Mrs. Emordi’s sack was made in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati without giving any reason why she was relieved of her appointment.

Also, the same statement announced the termination of the appointment of Dr. Tunji Olagunju as Special Adviser on the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).

The President, according to Dr. Abati, thanked Mrs. Emordi, popularly known as “Joy of the National Assembly” and Dr. Olagunju for their services and wished them success in their future endeavours.

It would be recalled that nine ministers were relieved of their duties by the president few weeks ago.
