The Nigerian Award-winning travel writer, Pelu Awofeso has launched the e-version of his travel books, “Tour of Duty: Journeys Around Nigeria and Sketches of Everyday Life” and “Nigerian Festivals: The Famous And Not So Famous.”

CEOAFRICA gathered that the titles which the e-version were launched to mark this year’s World Tourism Day  celebration have been available in print over the years and that travelers can now get them in the electronic form.

Awefeso who proudly expressed that he had optedfor 21st Century approach to book publishing indicating that there are no more  physical inconveniences of any kind, asserting that the books can now be bought at the click of a mouse and from anywhere in the world.

He however urged that Nigeria should encourage the publication of more travel-based literature stressing that this move is only proper at a time when the world is used to being fed with lots of negative news about Nigeria.
