A press release sent to CEOAFRICA Online news by Mr Lanre Latinwo media aid to Former Governor Senator Rasheed Ladoja which states:

"Our attention has been drawn to a write up on page 18 of Thursday September 19, 2013 edition of The Nation newspaper titled "Ladoja and Ibadan Flyover"in which Dauda Alayande of Aperin area of Ibadan alleged former governor Rashidi Ladoja of impropriety in the sales of shares.

The article contained nothing but a figment of warped mind imagination with no allusion to the facts of situation in reference.

We wish however to state categorically that the fact of the matter is already in public domain and verifiable with the anti-graft agencies that were called to investigate it by Otuba Alao-Akala's administration.

Since the case had been subjected to litigation, "we have no more to say as we do not intend to break ethical standards by running commentaries over a matter before the law court. However, "Ladoja remain innocent until it is

otherwise proved."

It is amazing the way some people reason on issues that affect the generality of the people. The former governor and some groups were not querying the construction of the flyover but were perturbed by the cost at which projects were been delivered in the state.”
