Picture of the Exhumed Car
From Nasarawa State, it was gathered that a car, which has some bodies inside it, was exhumed by a riverside at Tudun Adabu in Obi Local Government, CEOAFRICA.com gathered.
The dead bodies were said to be that of two bankers and their driver. They were allegedly ambushed by suspected Ombatse boys, who took them to the bush, killed them, set them ablaze with their car and buried them with the car by the riverside.
Sources disclosed that the deceased bankers are Alhaji Hassan Gidado, a managing director of the Police Microfinance Bank, and Mr. Tunde Banwo. Both bankers, who lived in Abuja, were in Lafia for the wedding of a child of the Police Commissioner-in-charge of Cooperative, before meeting their untimely death.
Confirming the incident, Police Commissioner, Umar Shehu said after the bodies were exhumed, they were deposited at the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia. He also said the suspected killers apprehended would soon be charged to court. He then assured residents that measures had been taken to curb the activities of the outlawed Ombatse group.
