Nigeria-born British actress Sophie Okonedo is set to feature as the lead star in BBC’s upcoming political thriller, Undercover.

The actress, who is born to a Nigerian father and Jewish mother, will be joined by Adrian Lester.

Okonedo will play the role of Maya, an ambitious black woman in the forthcoming project. She is best known as Tatiana Rusesabagina in Hotel Rwanda.
