Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Tukur Buratai, has promised that the Nigerian army under his watch will re-jig its operations to effectively tackle the insurgency ravaging the North Eastern part of the country.

Buratai made the statement during  a Sallah party organised for soldiers serving  in Yobe State. The COAS who is on a working visit to the state said, he is committed to building a professional and responsive army that would execute its constitutional responsibilities with high sense of commitment.
