All winners of awards at the 2015 MAMAs (MTV Africa Music Awards) has been announced, and no Ghanaian was able to take an award. Sarkodie was nominated in the Best Male category as well as the Best Collaboration category for a track he did with Stanley Enow titled Njama Njama Cow, Stonebwoy was in the Best New Act Transformed by Absolut category and Fuse ODG was in the Best Pop & Alternative category, but none failed to emerge as a winner.
There was an amazing opening performance by DJ Fisherman, Naakmusiq, DJ Tira, Anselmo Ralph, Danger and Duncan. However, the likes of Ne-Yo, Seyi Shay, 2Face Idibia, SA songstress Bucie, Sauti Sol, Stonebwoy, Burna Boy, AKA, Jhene Aiko, Flavour, Toofan, D’banj, Mr. Cashtime, Uhuru and Davido added more beauty to the performances during the night.
