Stonebwoy just touched down in Ghana, after visiting South Africa for the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards, and he decided to pass through YFM. The BET Best International Act (Africa) winner shared some stories from the event which took place in Durban.

Stonebwoy mentioned;

“I’m cool, this is like a surprise, I just dropped from the airport and decided to pass through YFM. Congrats to MzVee for her BET nomination and we are back.

“Durban was OK, it was lit. I managed to be the only Ghanaian out there and it felt a bit lonely but every other artiste is still your friend.

“The performance was great. Shout outs to AKA, Burna Boy and Alex. That’s like my new group.

“I ate breakfast from the hotel, got a call from organizers to do rehearsals and then it was show time and I nailed it and was on my way to Ghana.

“I saw a lot of fine things and fine girls but you cant just call them.

“Most of the girls were wild, but you can’t even call them. They kept calling but I was too busy to engage them.

“My new name now is King Shaka.

“Currently, we are trending, MAMA was trending and we were there so we are current and trending.”

Stonebwoy was hosted by Efya and MzVee. The two are also set to debut a new single on Monday!
