A lady allegedly resident in the U.S.A has accused Timaya; the popular Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa of rape.

The unidentified lady took to Instagram, sharing chats and recordings from a phone conversation between her and a person she claims to be Timaya.

  Timaya’s voice however, was said to have been confirmed as that which was recorded but at no point did he directly own up to raping her; though he was pleading for the lady’s forgiveness.

The lady’s Instagram handle has this message posted at 8:52 pm, on Friday, July 24th, 2015:

“SO THAT I MAKE IT CLEAR YES I AM A VICTIM OF SEXUAL ASSAULT, BUT I HAVE A HEART. AND THE ONLY REASON TIMAYA WAS ABLE TO LEAVE ATLANTA IS BECAUSE OF THOSE TWO INNOCENT KIDS HE HAS! SO THAT WE ARE FUCKING CLEAR!”

While the authenticity of the alleged rape remains sketchy, it is nevertheless clear that there has been some form of communication between the anonymous lady and the Nigerian music artiste. Timaya’s manager, Prinz, has however threatened the lady, accusing her of recording Timaya’s voice illegally.
