Ghanaian gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has revealed that life has not been all rosy for her. She’s mentioned that she went through lots of challenges years ago before she became famous, which led her into considering suicide.

According to her, people turned their back on her, leaving her so frustrated, and wanting to kill herself because there was no financial help coming from anywhere.

“It came to a point family, friends and everybody turned their back against me. I remember one of the days when I gave birth and then I had to stay in the hospital for two weeks because of money. The challenges were too much that a point in time I decided to take my life” Ohemaa Mercy narrated.

Ohemaa Mercy, mother of 3 kids, hosts the second edition of Tehillah Experience on Sunday, August 2 at International Central Gospel Church – Calvary Temple, Spintex Road.
