IGP presenting souvenir to the Chief of Defence Intelligence

Security: Defense Intelligence partners Nigerian Police to combat crime

The new Chief of Defense Intelligence, Air Vice Marshall Monday Morgan, has promised to support the Nigeria Police, through an improved capacity building on intelligence gathering for police officers, with a view to enhancing national security.

This was made known in a statement made available to ceoafrica by the Force Public Relations Officer, CP. EmmanuelOjukwu, during the courtesy visit of the Defence Chief to the Inspector Generalof Police (IGP), Solomon Arase, in his office at Force Headquarters Abuja.

Morgan also expressed satisfaction in the leadership and management team of the Arase led-Nigeria Police, saluting his vision at taking policing to greater heights.

The IGP in his response congratulated Air Vice Marshall Morgan on his appointment,

Adding that quite a good number of Police Officers have benefited from The Intelligence course offered by the Military Intelligence School.

He further urged the Defence Intelligence Chief to extend same opportunity to Junior Police Officers, with a view to boosting the ties between the two agencies.
